our aims
100 Words aims to:
Enable young people to explore their own creativity and learn new skills through participation and dialogue with their peers;
Build greater awareness and understanding of cultural similarity and difference through language;
Maximise technological possibilities by creating a virtual community to encourage the sharing of work and exchange of ideas;
Facilitate cultural engagement between organisations, cities and regions in China and the UK initially;
Link into the cultural and educational programmes celebrating the Olympic and Paralympic Games from Beijing 2008 to London 2012, and contribute to their legacies.
